Can someone reccomend a good cat litter that is not to spendy. I have a small house and it is a must to have a good litter but the stuff I am buying is too spendy. Any ideas. TIA!

I converted to the arm & hammer litter and I doubt I ever go back, lol.

a normal sized box that lasts through 2 complete litter changes (it's scoopable... and we love it because it totally elimates kitty odors... unless it needs changed... and one of the cats is really sensitive to litter odors... he won't use it if it's too smelly) is about $7 around here... I get it from Walmart. The big boxes I think are around $11. They have a really good multi cat litter, too.

Amazon is showing $9.50 for 21 lbs of it.... I think walmart's cheaper.

It might be pricier than bargain stuff... but it lasts us about a month a box :shrug

That sound better than what I am using. Right now I am paying 12.99 that lasts only two changes. :(

We use the multi-cat formula of tidy cat and it is great. I can get it on sale for 11.99 for 20something lbs, but I love the arm and hammer when it is on sale.
