Need suggestions! You know, like: "pumpkin loaf", "gingerbread man", bag of "chex mix"... (and how were they packaged?)
Thanks for your imput!
(I'll also take good ideas that are non-food!)

My mom makes something called Polish Pound Cake. It's basically pound cake with red and green marachino cherries in it. I know... it's gonna kill me in 20 different ways. But it tastes wonderful and I confess that I don't always resist the temptation to hide it...

It makes a HUGE batch--if you make them, make sure you have a whole afternoon to do it in.

Monster Cookies

1 dozen eggs
2 lbs brown sugar
4 cups white sugar
1 TB vanilla
1 TB corn syrup
8 tsp baking soda
1 lb butter(no substitutes)
3 lb peanut butter
18 cups oatmeal(42 oz box)
1 lb chocolate chips(just a package will do)
1 lb M&M's

Mix in order listed.
I usually start this in my Kitchenaid mixer bowl and then I graduate up to the Tupperware Thatsabowl when the mixer bowl is too full.

Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet.

Bake 350* 12 minutes.

IIRC, it makes about 12 dozen, depending on how big you make your cookies.
And yes, there is NO flour in this recipe!

Homemade tamales - some chicken and some bean. They came packaged in standard Reynolds wrap, but who cares. :yum :yum :yum

And this year I've made dried fruit fruitcake. I wanted to prove to all my relatives that fruitcake can be made to taste good and doesn't have to be made with candied fruit and peel :sick2

Of course I'm willing to part with the recipes if anyone wants them :)
