Ok, we got these two male kittens two weeks ago. I think they are 8 weeks old now.

The one kitten is trying to "nurse" on the other kitten's nether regions and it's driving me crazy! I don't know that I can do anything to stop it though, because I can't be there all the time to take him away, ya know? I don't know whether they were taken from the mama too soon or what the deal is...

Please tell me this is normal and that they will stop this soon...

They are due to get neutered next week.

If you got the kittens at 6 weeks old, that is way too young. Ideally, kittens shouldn't be taken away from mama until 10-12 weeks, 8 weeks at the bare minimum. So unfortunately, this suckling behavior most likely stems from an early seperation :(

OTOH, it is great that you have two kittens, so at least in that way they won't be missing out on critical social interaction at this young age.
