I have a big 12 x 12 page with a baby picture of dd and I need a good quote about daughters or a short poem to include on the page. Can anyone share one? Or share a good resource for finding one? :)

"The most precious gift
From Heaven above
Is the gift of a daughter
for a mother to love"
~ Dana Roberts Clark

"A daughter is a dream come true.
Pink lace, ribbons, fluff and froufrou,
Giggles, kisses, bubbles and bows,
She's such a sweet dear from her head to her toes"
~ Laura Taylor Mark

"there is nothing like a little girl.
She will brighten up your whole world
With her beautiful eyes and long curls,
She is more precious than any pearls."
~ Dana Roberts Clark

"she's a little touch of Heaven
Sent down from above
She's filled our lives w/ happiness
And our hearts full of love"
~ Dana Roberts Clark

"Twirling, swirling round and round
In your sparkling princess gown
on your toes, you greet the sky
Kissing Heaven, only 2 feet high"
~ Julie Perkins Cantrell

"The love of a child makes you change
And become all that they will aspire to
The blessing of a child makes you appreciate life
And hold on to those little hands
That God has given to you"
~ Lisa M. Billings

*I could find some more if you want me to.* :)

There is also dMarie.com - it's a scrapbooking site and has a searchable poem section.

Thank you everybody! I am still looking. I'll check out those links and sites. Bostonsmama, I bet I can find one in one of those places, so don't worry about checking your book - unless I write back and say help! still can't find one. And luvbeinamom, thanks for writing all those out - I can use at least one or two of them on pages in her album. The page I need it for now is a page in the beginning of her "first year" album where I have a professional photo close-up of her face and room for just a little paragraph/stanza - but more baby than little girl theme. Anyway, this is more info. than any of you need - I'll go check those links.
You mamas are great!!! I appreciate the help.

Have you ever heard that song, "In my daughter's eyes" by Martina McBride? That might be a good idea! I'll see if I can find the lyrics...

In my daughter's eyes I am a hero
I am strong and wise and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me
I see who I wanna be
In my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light and the
world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me gives me
strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe
In my daughter's eyes

And when she wraps her hand
around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about

It's hangin' on when your heart
has had enough
It's giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you see how happy
she made me
For I'll be there
In my daughter's eyes

It's kinda long, but maybe you could use some of it?
