anyone paint for fun?

i just started on my first painting ever. i went and got a canvas and my mom does one stroke, so she already had paints/brushes. i really like painting! i feel like i get all creative/spiritual/released and relaxed. i do it late at night, after dd is asleep for the night.
so far i've just got circles of different colors going on, mainly fall colors. i'll post a pic when i'm finished.
anyone paint? i wanna see pics of ur paintings, girls!!

I have not painted pictures, but I have done murals on our kids walls before. I have a pic somewhere. I did a Winnie the Pooh in my dd's room and various borders for the rest of the rooms.
I just freehand it while looking at a picture.

I do. I do BFing art, abstract stuff, whatever I feel like. :) i've posted some for sale here before in swap & shop. I'm getting ready to paint a picture on my kitchen ceiling - we have really high ceilings. DH doesn't know yet. :giggle I'm going to have a friend watch ds on a day when DH works all day, and boy will he be surprised! (in a good way!) And no, it won't be a pic of a baby nursing! :laughtears :cool

ooohh...i love abstract stuff. i guess that's kinda what mine will be like.

I paint; mostly absract or stylised landscapes. I can sketch some, though not much good, just for the fun of it. We have lots of paintings in our house done by my friends too.

Will post a picture some time but my crafty photos are all on a disk *somewhere* so I have to either dig it out of take more photos!
