A big ol' yellow and black garden spider.

It's body alone is about the size of my thumb!

I saw it a few weeks ago(almost backed into it---sooooooo glad I didn't find it crawling on me!) and promptly looked it up on the computer. As far as I could find, it's a harmless garden spider. But I still don't want it crawling on me!

That picture could have been taken in my garden shudder-shudder.

Spans my hand, oh I wouldn't want to be in a room with her but she's facinating in my garden. She has trapped and is in the process of eating a full grown locust.
