I can't imagine it molding--seems that the alcohol would kill any mold, but I honestly don't know :shrug Is there an 'Ask Martha Stewart' forum? :giggle

Well phooey!
I guess I will have to throw it out. :/

My bean didn't have any mold on it when I put it in. It was from Frontier from the Health Food Store and it was organic. Maybe that's it--no pesticides/herbicides! (kidding). And I opened the vodka for the first time and split the bean and dropped it in. So the vodka should have been good and fresh.


That was a waste of like $20.

Maybe I'll try it again later if I come across some cheaper beans.
