Still debating whether or not to invest in a mai tai or ergo of some sort and wanting it mostly for back carrying- If my dd whos 1yo falls asleep can I get her out still asleep? how?
Thanks!

DD has fallen asleep on my back in my mei tai. What I do is sit on the edge of the bed. Untie the shoulder straps and the waist straps but keep a hold of them. Then I very carefully lay back until dd is on the bed. Then I let the straps go and just leave the mei tai on her back.

Yep. :) I can get Colin out of both while he's sleeping.

Although, if you can't move them out of the car seat or move away without them waking up, I assume it wouldn't work. :shrug

It's harder than getting him out if he's in the front, but totally do-able. I don't wear the Ergo because it really hurts me, but the MT and the wrap are fairly easy to de-sling while he's asleep.
