butters and cream cheese

do you have favorite butters or cream cheeses (vegan, obviously) that i can use to make a carrot cake for small's first birthday?

The best butter around is Earth Balance (best for you too!)

Tofutti makes awesome cream cheese, you can even get flavored varieties.

For what it's worth my DH loves carrot cake with cashew cream or cashew butter icing, but then again, he likes the cream cheese variety too. :yum

I give tofutti cream cheese a big :tu, too! Earth Balance is also wonderful.. that's what we use.
