Please pray for our puppy

Our dog, Teddy is getting neutered tomorrow. They anticipate a problem because of his size(70 lbs. and growing strong), but our vet doesn't fix until 6 mos. old so we've had to wait. Also, he doesn't like the car so we may have some trouble getting him there. At least dh is taking the morning off to take him.

Well,
dh had an emergency and couldn't take Teddy. He wouldn't get in van, then wouldn't go inside clinic. We had to muzzle him since he was growlin at staff.
Poor baby just cried when I left him, but it must be done. I'm calling in a few moments to see how he's done.

So how did it go? Our cockapoo puppy had his surgery in July at 5.5 months but he is only 20 pounds. Hope everything went well.

Poor li'l guy! Don't worry ... he will be himself in no time!

Btw, I'm VERY surprised that your vet doesn't neuter till 6 months ... that's highly unusual. Most vets will do it much younger now.

True. that is a little odd....animal shelters do it when they are just a few weeks even. Its such a fast surgery. They usually give an injection knock them out....few swift swipes with a scalpel, couple stitches...done. 10 minutes max in most cases.
