I'm WAY ahead of myself here, but I'm just wondering what your opinions are on what is the best sling/wrap for a baby. I have a wrap that I use all the time, but wasn't sure it would be good for a newborn. I like the looks of the mei tei and I think I could make one... they look so simple. Are they good for newborns??

My friend uses her mei tai for her newborn (front carry on her chest).

Wraps are good for a newborn - here are instructions on the newborn carry.

Check out kangaroo korner adjustable fleece pouches. I have one for my new baby coming. I've been using it with ds, and I think it's great. It's like the new native, but keeps the baby in closer to your body, so less back strain. I'm pleased with it.

I think a wrap is a good choice. The link for instructions on peppermint.com is a good one! :tu
