apparently we can use baking soda in our diaper wash, i wasnt sure, so im glad i found this! however, i have a laundry soap that i use often that calls for super washing soda....i guess i'll keep it for really dirty laundry!

just thought id share, i didnt know which one we could / couldn't use :tu

lol wuzzie, its made by arm and hammer, its in a big yellow box called Super Washing Soda, a lot of recipes in my "natural body/home care" books call for it. the only places here that sell it are our local grocery stores, the big chains dont carry it? weird! i know you cant trust *everything* you read online, but that site seems like it would be reliable?

I used to use washing soda when I used Kushies. I could tell it was stronger than regular baking soda because it worked so well. I only used a few tablespoons, though, where now I use about 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda. I think it's ok to use washing soda as long as you know how strong it is and adjust the amount you use accordingly. :shrug

yeah, i agree lisa.....after thinking about it, im sure its still better than (or at least not worse than) commercial laundry detergents.
