I am going to try and make a wool wrap using the tickle turtle pattern how would you go about felting the wool do you crochet it then felt it or before i'm totally lost.

You crochet/knit whatever you are doing first, THEN felt. It is smart to do a swatch first and felt it to see how much shrinkage you need to allow for. It is different for different yarns, and for knitting at least, shrinks more in length than in width. With crochet I would suppose the shrinkage is more even. I am not familiar with your pattern though.

Actually, now that I think about it, I will word this stronger. You REALLY want to do a swatch first! :mrgreen
