Nursing Pads

I was thinking that I would sew my own nursing pads. I have some disposables for going out, extra leaking, etc as well.

Based on what I can find for patterns, I figured that I would make them 4 inches in diameter and three layers thick: 1 flannel and 1 fleece, with a layer of terry sandwiched in between those. I'm small-breasted (even pg) so I didn't think that I really needed them to be much larger in diameter.

What do you think?

Fabulous idea! And lets hope you don't leak as much as I used to and have to use washables AND disposables at the same time! :doh
