Recently, Adam Bailie of Grace Community Church wrote a strong clarifying statement about GCC's involvement with Gary Ezzo and church discipline.
This is an exerpt:
For the record, Grace Community Church does not "disagree" with Gary Ezzo. We are not mad at him, nor are we differing in a minor opinion issue. Gary Ezzo has been church disciplined out of our church. Matthew 18 had run its course with no repentence on the part of the sinning brother, namely Gary Ezzo. Therefore, he was put out of the fellowship of the local assembly. If you have any knowledge of the elders and their sobriety here at Grace, you would not make light of this discipline.
