Is this a good price?

My local Ingles has organic whole chicken on sale for $1.98 a pound. Is that a good deal? They also had some boneless/skinless organic breasts for $2.99 a lb.

The boneless skinless breasts are a good price, but I've seen the whole chicken lower :shrug I just saw the breasts for $6.99 here, but the whole chicken is .89....

I think its really depends on your local prices, because it can vary a lot...

Boneless skinless is a better price than our local stores' regular boneless skinless price. (non organic and regular price to be more concise.)

Here, yep, that's a great price.

The place where I buy whole organic chicken is $2.00 a pound. I haven't found any place to give me chicken pieces. But I'd buy organic boneless skinless chicken breasts for $2.99 a pound.
