I am totally confused as to what design to choose!

I want one to carry my newborn in and hopefully also when s/he gets older.

As it's going to be a July baby I thought linen would be the best material.

I thought a ring sling would be best but I know nothing about slings!

Can someone please advise on what design is best and where I can find clear instructions?

Thanks! :)

Here's some resources I know about...

HTH!!!

I personally use a pleated ring sling made by Jan as my primary sling... If you are good at sewing, then you could probably make that. Also, it is VERY easy to do a pouch, so you could probably make one of those as well! I know Amy (Wholly Mama) started making them after Hotslings got popular! :)

Jan's pattern is awesome! :tu I like a ring sling for little babies, and a mei tei once they get older (20+ lbs.) I used Jan's site to make both. :)
