Dyeing prefolds

How do you dye the CPF's?? I've seen such pretty colored ones, and would like to do a few of my own. Can you just use RIT dye??

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo don't use rit!! Lotsa craft stores sell a tiedye kit that has the procion dyes, gloves, rubberbands, instruction book, etc all in there. If you post this in the hobbies and crafts forum there are some tiedying wahms that could give you good starter info :-) I dyed a few prefolds and cotton kids clothes with one of those kits, the colors are bright and haven't faded or bled in the slightest.
