Rash-from his allergy?

My ds has a severe dairy allergy and my MIL gave him a cookie with marg. in it :mad, he has been having symptoms for the last few days-stomach pains, shiners, meltdowns. He also has developed a rash, but I don't know if it's from that. It started as a few pimples and now he has a rash on the back of his neck and some spots on his face. It's Saturday and it happened Wednesday. Do you think the rash is from the dairy or something else? My dh asked if I thought it could be the start of chicken pocks, I don't think so but I don't know. How long will he be affected by the dairy? Thanks!

Has he had roseola yet? That's how it progressed for my ds, and he didn't have the fever that many people have with it. Nearly 100% of kids end up with an immunity for it, so you can pretty much assume that we all get it at some point :P My ds caught it from a mall play place.
