I just read in the LLL breastfeeding answer book that sage tea could be used for oversupply problems. Anyone tried this, or heard of it? I''ve got overactive letdown/oversupply problems that aren't resolving with limiting feedings to one breast and the other usual suggestions. Any info y'all have would be appreciated! :cup

I tried it and it didn't help me. It might help you though...it could be worth a try.

One sided nursing helped me the most. That, and staunching the flow on the non nursing side fairly strongly so that the 'let down' on that side was not as ferocious seemed to help.

hmmm. . . I've been trying the one-sided nursing, and using the sissors hold, but to no avail. I guess trying the tea couldn't hurt, right? :think
