Wear gloves while dying. I'm attempting my first rainbow spiral and my index finger is totally tie dyed. Like the tip is red, then orange, then yellow. I have spots of blue. It's funny...but great, I have to live this way until I shed my skin!

a regular fork is fine lol - but i find i get tighter swirls with the shrimp fork , or even a baby/toddler fork...
