I did a wrap!!!

ok, after wearing ds for 4hrs in the sling yesterday (ntm the in and out we were doing for the hours before that) my shoulder was aching! so i decided to pick up some fabric for a wrap, talk about intimidating! 5yds of fabric! if i can't stretch far enough to fold it, it's scary! lol! but i did it anyways! yesterday i tried it out a bit, only took 2 tries to get it on in a way that worked! and talk about COMFORTABLE!! oh my it was so nice to not have that tugging on my shoulder after hours of it (we were out from 830am-4pm and he was in the sling 90% of that time!) so i'm pretty well sold! i've gotta get the edges hemmed but i've been using it anyways when i had to go back to walmart again, lol! I had dh do a pic, but the batteries were dieing so we only got one that's not too great, lol! but here it is!

Hey that looks great! I love using my wrap too. I get so many comments on how great it looks. The best was at Ikea when a woman told me that's how babies should be carried. I second the mamatoto page. It's a great resource.

I cant' seem to find the front carry instructions... or they just aren't working for me. I'll fool around and see if I can figure it out on my own... :shrug

Great picture! I'm still trying to figure out the wrap. DD doesn't seem to like the rucksack carry. I really want to do the tibetan carry. Some of them seem so complicated!
