How do I get this to bloom?

Hi Mamas,

I've been growing my African Violet in a kitchen window w/ filtered light. It's flourishing... with leaves that is. How do I get flowers? Am I watering it too much (1-2 x's/wk), too much light? AAAHHHH! :hissyfit

Are you using African Violet Fertilizer?
That's the only time I can get mine to bloom....I have to remember to use the fertilizer(and to water--my poor violets!)

There's a powder you mix in with your water and there's also a liquid that you mix in with the water. I got mine at Walmart.
