DD in her own crib

So DH and I decided it was time to try to put DD (almost 9 months) in her crib for naps and during the night. Naps aren't fun, but I must say that I was sad this morning because DD did not mind sleeping in her crib. She didn't cry (except to be nursed every few hours). I am sad that she didn't seem to miss us at all.

But then again it was only the first night, who knows what will happen tonight.

We also moved to a crib at 9 months and I totally know what you mean. :hug Try to think of it this way. You have provided the comfort she needed to be able to NOW have the confidence to sleep on her own. You didn't force her to deal with her feeling by CIO, but gave her the confidence in knowing its okay because If I need mommy she'll be at my side. :heart
Though I also admit sneaking her back with us on occassion ;)
