Well, it's time for a new vaccum and as much as I would love a Dyson, it's just not in the budget. So, I need to know what the next best thing is :smile Right now, I have a 7+ year old Dirt Devil, with bags. I was thinking I wanted a bagless one but a friend said the filter in hers is a pain to get clean (don't know what kind she has). I'd like one with attachments too. Any opinions? What do you have and do you like it?

I've always liked Bissel. That's what we have now and it is bagless. I like having no bag. Saves money and seems cleaner to me. The filters are no trouble. Comes with attachments and can be bought at WalMart fairly cheap. :) hth

Thanks. I think I saw a Bissell at Sam's Club that looked pretty good. I'll have to check again.

I love my rainbow!
And no I did not pay the big bucks $$ :eek
I got it at an auction for $20, replaced the motor for $200 (with warranty) and now have a very nice (expensive quality) vaccuum. :tu
