Sorry to post this here, but I need a quick answer! I'm making chocolate chip cookies to send in a care package. Since I don't eat sugar & can't test my product, I'm doing the cookie dough kind. Question--how can I make the cookies chewy rather than crispy? Bake at a lower temp for longer? Or higher temp for shorter? Or something else? Thanks!

Yes, it's the refridgerated toll house choc chip cookie dough.

I always bake them at a lower temperature for longer. The best cooke recipe I have is Mrs. Fields, and she says lower temp/longer time makes chewier cookies; her recipe has them at 300 for 22 minutes. They're perfect every time!

I'm going to go ahead and move this to the "cook book" forum since it's an older post now. :)
