YOu know how you are supposed to wash them about 5 times before using? Do they need to be washed and dried each time or just washed? Any thoughts...I am so clueless when it comes to CDs. This is my big experiment!

I think washed and dried, but I don't know why.

I didn't know, so I washed and dried, just washed, washed and dried... until they absorbed water I poured (lightly) on, instead of it rolling right off. :)

When I got mine, I boiled them in a big pot of hot water on the stove. Then I washed and dried them a few times. The boiling water helps build up their absorbency faster -- at least that's what I read back when I first bought them... :shrug

I washed and washed and washed....if you can add boiling water to your machine that will help too....the hotter the better! :)
