apple juice

I need to learn to make apple juice soon! im almost out of safe rice cakes (they changed the ingredients but i bought out the last 10packages they had, lol!) so i gotta do them myself, but i gotta get safe apple juice. instead of paying a ton at a HFS i wanna make it, i just dont now how.

I figure ill hafta skin and core it? what kind is better for juice? green? ive got a juicer so turning it to juice won't be hard :o) do i need to add water or anything? or just a buncha apples?

I juice 4 red apples for a 8oz glass of juice for Dc each day. I buy whatever is on sale. The crunchier/harder the apple the more juice from my experience :) We use the apples and 1 whole carrot (which you can not taste but is very cleansing) :)
