Headache

I have a headache that really started almost a week ago. I thought it was sinus since i am also having a hearing problem in one ear, and mild congestion. I thought i was getting better but... after a night of NO sleep (teething baby :cry ), my head is absolutely splitting this morning :hissyfit I bought Claritin-D but i am scared to try it, I took advil a couple times but my headache just returned once it wore off... what is this headache from?! And how can i get rid of it!?

i forgot to mention that i have this horrible taste in the back of my throat and i feel like i need to keep swallowing. But i dont really have traditional "cold" symptoms.

Do you have migraines? Is there pain in the back of your neck? If it's a sinus headache you could try peppermint oil on your temples, forehead, and bottom of your feet. If it's a migraine however, PO won't work. At least it doesn't work for mine. But, I get tunnel vision, and pukey with my migraines.
