my sweet ds :heart....

He was looking at a magazine and it had a picture of a crying baby in it. He said "awwwwwww" and made a sad face to show me the baby was crying. Then he reached out, grabbed me, and said "baby milkie mama" and tried to get me to nurse the picture! :laughtears :heart :laughtears

GBD does work...is working....I couldn't have done a better prompt nurturing response myself! I love this - it's so nice to see him respond with empathy.

that is adorable :)

My children have amazing empathy for their ages too. I like to believe it's because I have taught them that feelings are valid and good and worthy of an empathetic response :)
