Anyone use Reason for Spelling?

Tell me about it please. :) Is it challenging?

My dd is in 2nd grade (would be 1st in PS) and doing Spectrum Spelling Grade 4. And it still seems easy! She gets all the words right each week. On another HS board I post at someone asked about RfS b/c they also use RfHandwriting. I've seen the Handwriting one at the store here but they don't carry the Spelling one.

I don't use it yet, but an planning to. I like the Reason for Writing book, and from what I've seen I'll like Reason for Spelling.

What about the curriculum is appealing?

My daughter (8.5, third grade at a Christian school right now) uses it at her school. She LOVES it. We are probably going to continue with it next year when she's homeschooled. I like that it's Biblically based. I LOVE that it has many different types of learning activities with the words. It's not just a memorization thing - they use the words in all different ways, and there are activities to fit any learning style as well. It's an excellent curriculum, from what I've seen. Much more than just "spell this word".
