We recently moved so I received a referral from my OB (runs the local Birth Center) on a new ped. I sent all of our paperwork to the new ped and he just called me to go over a few things. He said he didn't receive any vaccine info. I said, the boys weren't vaccinated. He said ok, if you want to continue that here we'll have you sign a waver. He was very nice about this, btw. I said sure, no problem. Then he said "and if anyone gives you a hard time you refer them to me. Some of our Dr's here don't honor that, so you just tell them to talk to me about it!" I am now officially :hearts with my yet unseen ped!

That is great news! I am yet to inform our GP that we are no longer vaccinating (Benja is due in a few months) and I hope I good such a good reaction from her! :)

Me too! I was so shocked. I've always called ahead to find out the vax environment before setting up an appointment. The receptionist was really friendly about the whole thing, but to have this reaction was just so amazing. :heart
