Bonding with Daddy (Crystal?)

Before the old board crashed, I remember reading something from Crystal about how until 18 months, children don't understand that they're seperate from Mom, and after 18 months, they can begin to bond more strongly with their fathers, and other people. Can you tell me where I can read more about this? I think the info would be helpful for my dh, and I'm interested, too!

Oooh someone posted a good book, and I know I got it from a child development book (when I get up I'll try to check it--it's in my book's works cited). I know you can check most child developments texts. I also think that Dr. Sears talks about this in "On Becoming a Father"
