I went to my rubbermade storage totes to see if I have a pair of cleats to fit Collin in the upcoming soccer season. I took out a pair and thought, "My goodness...I didn't think these were so dirty when I put them in here." Then I realized the "dirt" was FUZZY. I picked up a pair of rubber boots in the same tub and looked in it and saw SLIME gush from heel to toe! I opened a box that was in the tote, containing K's old black suede boots, pulled off the lid and :wow THEY WERE WHITE! Every shoe in the tote was covered in various forms of mold! :sick

Maybe cleats have to sit out in the sun a while before one stores them. :doh

Oh yuck!!! :sick Last week I opened my son's window because it was such a beautiful day and I wanted to air the house out. I haven't raised his blinds since fall #1 because there's a mountain of toys in front of it :hiding and #2 because it's been to cold. So I pull up his blind and there's MOLD all on the bottom of the window sill going halfway up the window!! :wow :sick NO WONDER he's been so "sick" this winter! His little body was probably reacting to the mold. I feel like suck a terrible mother... :blush I killed the mold with a bleach solution and promised myself to check it often.
