natural treatment for pink eye?

Is there such a thing? My 3 yo ds had a horrible draining yellow stuff from his eye yesterday and woke up this morning crying with them stuck shut. :cry They are red and itchy. Is there anything I can do other than antibiotic ointment???

Great idea! But i don't have any right now. Baby due in 4 weeks, but not quite soon enough

My kids are just getting over pinkeye, and the only natural cure that I could find was breastmilk (which I no longer have), so I broke down and gave my kids their first antibiotics ever, boohoo :(
