back carry

Ok, I want to carry my very heavy (as in 16lbs) 2 month old on my back, I am really good at the front carry but I can't get her on my back and it would be SO much more convienant. She can't hold up her head for more than a few secs. Any sugesstions, I have a wrap (homemade) and a store bought snuggly (that I dn't really like, it cuts into my sholders too much). ??????? TIA!!!!

i your wrap is long enough, the back cross carry is comfy.. instructions (http://www.peppermint.com/wrapcrossbackcarry.htm). you may want someone to help you until you get the hang of it with such a young baby...in the pictures, she has baby's arms out, but you could do it with the fabric all the way up to her neck, i think... it's really secure if you do it right. or, you could try something like this (http://www.peppermint.com/kikoyInst.htm).
