Ok so Simon got fixed yesterday--poor bugger!! He isn't eating or drinking much---is that normal?? I got a syringe and got some water in him but I am worried about him?? :think Our other kitten, Jack was attacked by our dog and we had to put him down and I just don't want anything to happen to Simon.....

He may just be recovering from medication. Neutering usually goes well for cats/kittens. Call your vet if you think something is not right....also if there is any pus anywhere.

anesthesia can make you feel nauseous. see how he feels later.

He perked up last night and ate!! He was even a little playful!!!! :tu

Thats pretty normal. Usually with neuters it is a quick injection...cats knocked out...then a few swipes of a blade...little stitch..thats it. Its not too invasive. but they may be off a day or two.

He can be subdued up to a week after, just make sure food and water is available if he wants it, and a sofe spot he can lay that he won't be harassed by anybody.
