Imagine this. . . .

Your house is clean. The laundry is folded. The dishes are washed and put away. You are rested and your tummy is full. Your DH is doing taxes or whatever. Your little one(s) are miraculously asleep early. There's nothing on TV because it's not sweeps month. :P So. . . .

What do you find yourself doing? What's your favorite craft or hobby when you find yourself at loose ends? What's the last thing you finished?

I'm working on a rug-hook project. :) I have ambitions of doing scrapbooking, but not until I clean out my basement, and whoa boy, it may be a while! :lol

Oooh, that's so tough! I think that GCM is one of my biggest hobbies :O

But, when I'm not on GCM, I like to code my various websites and projects, cross-stitch (that was the last crafty project that I finished although I have about a dozen more going :doh ), crochet, knit, PLAY GUITAR...

I have too many intrests and too little time!!!

Reading, sewing, knitting and soon, scrapbooking.

And GCM and blogging if those count as hobbies.

I'd be sewing. I have so many unfinished projects and things I'd like to make.

I'd be on the floor passed out in shock. :laughtears

Seriously I've found a passion for sewing. I first learned last October and after a mad crash course dash to sew Christmas presents am sewing for hubby, the kiddo & me. In fact I just finished reorganizing my sewing area today and can't WAIT to get my new machine on wednesday. After some dutiful petting and sweet talking of it I'll sew Ian's pants for his Easter outfit.

if blogging counts i'd be doing that. or surfing the net. terrible.

but i'd really like to be sewing. i'm in the midst of covering new foam cushions for this funky chair in the living room. the last project? hmmm... does mending count. :doh

and of course i'd be drinking coffee, too. and maybe eating chocolate. always.b :hkiss :cup

I am either reading or scrapbooking. I'm trying to discipline myself to write more. I've really let that go since having dc.

Reading, espcially Christian fiction. I've been doing jigsaw puzzles lately.

But I really love scrapbooking. :)

I love to crosstitch, haven't touched anything in years, still trying to finish our own wedding sampler, lol. I also love to read, sew, and I am going to teach myself to knit and crochet. I have a house isolation coming up in 13 days. I will be stuck in the house for 4 weeks, so this will get old fast, so AFTER I am all caught up on my paperwork, I will teach myself something I have loved to watch my Gma do all my life. This way when I get good at it my family will benefit from what I can make.

Playing the dulcimer! I can't seem to find time for that and I miss it sooooo much. Usually when I have a moment, I make a costume or toy for one of my children. I really enjoy doing that. Last year I taught myself to knit but I don't imagine I'll be using this new skill for a year or two.

I'd probably be sewing or scrapping, or on the computer, blogging or just reading. Sewing has been the big thing lately. I'm trying to get a diaper business going, so I sew diapers all the time. My last project that I finished though was the dress for BabyBear to wear to my wedding on Thursday.

Wow that sounds like a dream come true. I'd probably be.....grooming my dog, or maybe painting my toe nails. Does that count as a hobby? :lol Maybe I'd work on my dd's baby book.

I love to crochet, cross stitch but most recently I made Easter baskets for the kids. I got some bright colored cardstock and did like a "woven placemat", you know strips of paper and you do the over and under thing..glued it together and folded it up like a basket. It worked! :idea I did the baskets while watching SuperNanny.

Yes it's a dream when the house is quiet. But that's at night when I should be sleeping..

Sewing or reading I'm also trying very hard to teach myself how to do Plastic canvas projects. My dd's got a very well made plastic Canvas barbie doll furniture set for Christmas and they want to add to it :) I need to master this!

Nothing good on TV or something good on the radio: sewing or scrapbooking. I usually knit or cross-stitch in front of the TV. I knit a good sized baby blanket last month when dd was in the hospital.

Weird. I posted from my phone and it was taking too long so I hopped off my browser and it posted my post here.
