AF - Aunt Flo (menstruation)
AFAIK-as far as I know
ABM - artificial baby milk
AFAIC - as far as I'm concerned
AP - attachment parenting (http://www.askdrsears.com/html/10/T130300.asp#)
ATM - at the moment

BF - breastfeeding
BFP - big fat positive (pregnancy test)
BIL - brother-in-law
BM- - breastmilk (or bowel movement, according to context :O)
BTDT - been there, done that

CD - cloth diaper
CIO - cry it out

DC - dear children
DD - dear daughter
DH - dear husband
DS - dear son
DSD - dear step daughter
DSS - dear step son

EBF - extended breastfeeding
EBM - Expressed Breast Milk
EC - elimination communication

FAM - Fertility Awareness Method (same as NFP but you use barrier methods when fertile instead of abstaining)
FIL - Father-in-law
FOO - family of origin
FTR - for the record
FTM - for that matter
FTO - first time obedience
FWIW - for what it’s worth

bump - Sometimes someone will type "bump" in a thread.- That is just a way to "bump" a thread up so that others will see it, especially if it's not getting a lot of looks or replies.
